BUY IT!
I’m not very good at sticking to a product. I’m easily influenced, and I love studying skincare ingredients. I don’t know if I can find a replacement for this if I tried. Literally the first time I tried it, my skin sucked it up like a sponge. I think I’ve repurchased it 7 times at this point between Amazon, Ulta, and Target. It’s just an affordable little baddie. So many hydrating ingredients. Everyone’s skin is different, but I always recommend giving this a shot.I even got my mom with eczema and autoimmune stuff on it. Her skin breaks, scars, and burns so easily, like she can’t do any actives. Not even salicylic acid derivatives. She can’t use shampoos with sulfates because it’s too harsh for her. She only showers once a week if she can because she is so sensitive. But you know what she can use? This magnificent serum and their milky toner.

It’s an amazing serum. I’ve been struggling to find one that blurs pores and wears well under makeup and this does the trick. It’s incredibly hydrating without being greasy. I don’t care for the packaging. It’s difficult for the dropper to pick up the product and the bottle doesn’t seem full. I hope Byoma changes the packaging. I’d buy it again though.

Packaging is weird… but it’s good
Haven’t used it yet, but the product is very hard to get out of the bottle and it seems like there is not much product in it. Is this normal?UPDATE:After using it for a couple of months, my skin is soo good that people comment on how good it looks. It really helps with extra hydration and reparing that barrier. I don’t love the dropper, but you get the hang of it kind of which is why I am rating this 4 out of 5 stars.

Great for my damaged barrier that can’t tolerate anything heavier than this
This is my favorite Byoma product thus far. Wasn’t impressed with the milky toner and mist, but this little thing has been literally saving my poor skin with damaged barrier. I’m trying to repair my barrier at the moment.I have to wash my face once a day, and after cleansing, when I apply basically anything, my skin starts burning and turns red. I learned that applying a gel moisturizer or aloe vera gel is the only thing I can apply as the first step. It’s not enough on its own, but it makes my skin plump and hydrated, and I don’t turn into an angry tomato.As my second step, I apply this serum. I squeeze the dropper while it’s outside the bottle, then dip it into the serum and release it, that way it fills up completely (thanks to one reviewer who recommended this!). Then I mix a large drop of it with 3-4 drops of my toner. It mixes well. This way it’s easy to spread the serum when my face is already dry. Then I apply this to my face, and I’m always happy that my skin never reacts to it and quickly absorbs it. It takes 3-5 min for it to fully sink in.It never makes me look like a greasy ball, it just looks natural, makes my skin feel comfortable, soft, and moisturized without any heaviness. Maybe due to my damaged barrier I can’t tolerate regular moisturizers. It’s like my sensitivity is beyond normal, everything just sits on top of my skin and feels disturbing and irritating. But this serum works amazingly: it’s kind of oily (because with just gels I feel dry) but it’s also very lightweight. I think it must be those ceramides, cholesterole, and fatty acids (“the golden trio”), because my skin feels so… idk natural and moisturized from the inside? Like it doesn’t just sits on top of my skin but actually repairs my lipid barrier? At least that’s what I hope for. My skin’s getting better every day, but of course it’s hard to differentiate between the effects of the serum and my skin’s own healing abilities haha. Maybe it just regenerates while I sleep. But I literally can’t use any other moisturizer except this serum. I’ve tried everything from my cabinet, and they all never absorb, irritate my skin, make my rosacea worse, etc. I decided to write a review after applying it for maybe 10th time because I appreciate how my skin feels and looks with it. After the post-cleansing redness goes away, my skin starts to look healthy, even-toned, and hydrated. This is my only savior and the only oil-based product I can use right now and feel like my skin isn’t suffocating.The downside is the price and the amount you get. I will wait for some sale or coupon, otherwise it’s too pricey 🙁

Great Serum, Wish There Was More!
I loveeee this serum!! It feels so refreshing and leaves the skin looking glassy.My only complaint is that the small bottle is super small!! After about a week of using this everyday, I’m almost all out! This is using the recommended amount (4 drops).I highly recommend, just be ready to re order pretty frequently!

TRETINOIN girl here!! I had been on tret for a few years, it improved my skin but i still experienced some acne. Before Tret, i already had extremely dry flakey skin. The tret definitely made that issue worse. I have spent these last couple years trying to find products that keep me moisturized and help with my acne breakouts. I want to stress, my skin would be so dry it was visibly red, it was painful to the touch, it was literally flaking off in some parts, if i did not use the proper moisturizing products.I finally found a moisturizer (Vanicream) that really locked in my moisture and seriously soothed my skin. Searching for a hydrating serum to bring me even more glow, i tried this.Immediately YES! Within a couple days i noticed SERIOUS improvement in my skin. Not only was my skin SO hydrated finally, but somehow my skin was a lot clearer! I dont know whats in this stuff, but its amazing. I loved it, used the whole bottle, and wanting to continue searching for something even better, i did not immediately repurchase it and instead tried a different serum for a month.In trying this different serum, i immediately noticed i was breaking out again and i was starting to feel awfully dry. I gave it a whole month, but breakouts didnt stop so i ceased using this new serum and repurchased this BYOMA serum.IMMEDIATELY! AGAIN! This fixed my skin from my previous months experiment. Just a couple days in and my skin was glowing, clear, smooth.I am OBSESSED with this product. My holy grail.MY ONLY COMPLAINT!!!!!!!! The dropper. Oh my gosh, abysmal. Straight out of the box, both times i have purchased this, the dropper does not work as its supposed to. The instructions call for 4-6 drops of product. The dropper only picks up 1 or 2 drops at a time. Maybe this is purposeful? But i hope not. I do not want to dip and drop 6 times to get the proper amount. The dropper functions as if the product is mostly empty inside and that’s causing it to not pick anything up. Even straight out of the package, completely full, the dropper doesn’t work. I end up just pouring out a bit into my hand. The fullness of the product cannot be the issue, because even this way, when im sure i end up using more than 6 drops, i have enough product for the whole month. I believe strongly its a horrible dropper. I wish they would fix this or do a pump maybe.Despite this i will continue to purchase.No fragrance.

A blessing for sensitive and irritated skin
This product is super moisturizing in the best way. It doesn’t make your greasy or cause acne which is nice. I bought this because my skin was dry from peels but then got super irritated and red from another product. This serum reduced the redness immediately and my skin felt really good. However, there doesn’t seem a whole lot of product considering the size of the bottle. It works so well that I don’t really mind.
